On Dec. 17, 2000 Harold Rhodes passed away. Little known to many he was the inventor of the Rhodes piano made popular in jazz and pop music throughout much of the latter half of the 20th century. Now, that classic sound is associated with any electric piano. There were other electric pianos in the day but none has survived the test of time like Harry's. So, when he passed on I did a tribute recording of myself playing both parts - one in the left speaker and the other in the right. Good-bye Harry. Sorry to see you go.
