This piece is somehow darker than the others even though it tries to get lighter in the middle. The piano just plods along while the flute in it's ever happy uplifting tone tries to lift the piano into a better mood. They eventually meet and dance for a bit but the piano in all its lumbering heaviness descends back to that ever so monotonous open strain and finally ends by tiring the flute out. Damned piano.
