This is a pretty mysterious piece. Almost has flavors of Holst and Grieg, maybe even some lavender and mint. After a fancy piano opening it settles into a finger busting piano part while the flute plays longe melodic breezes over the piano. This always sounds pretty but under it all, someone's getting a workout. This time, it's the pianist. Give 'em a hand. I like the cool harmonies and effects this creates. Then it just disappears into the atmosphere after the piano hits a few "hey, it's time to stop" punctuations. Oh well, you can't please everybody. Enjoy...
